Axel Sandin Pellikka is only 18 years old. Despite that, it has been him who has carried Skellefteå during the start of this year’s SHL season.

The goal was nice. In the power play, he got the puck right to him, went straight in with a quick shot and 2-0 was a fact.
The teenager, who was selected as the 17th player overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL draft, now tops the defensemen’s scoring league in the SHL.
Dessförinna hade Linus Lindström managed to get back from Jonathan Pudas and get the lead in Skellefteå.
– I went there and hoped that the puck would bounce off the rim, but when I got it I thought that this will be almost impossible. I tested and then I got it in. It was really nice, a nice start, said Lindström in TV4 Play.
Leksand reduced through Oskar Lang but did not get any closer than that.
The victory means that Skellefteå overtakes Leksand in the table, up to seventh place.
