Tuxpan, Veracruz | In an effort to strengthen health care and promote early detection of breast cancer, the Municipal DIF, under the direction of Lic. Pamela Morales Huescahas launched the “Free Mammography Day»a program designed to offer citizens free access to essential medical studies. Thus It was announced by Axel Andrés Bernal Herrera, Eighth Councilman of the Tuxpan City Council, through his official Facebook account.
During a tour of the modules and services installed for this campaign, The importance of early detection of breast cancer was highlighted, a disease that can be treated effectively if diagnosed in its early stages. The Councillor stressed that the day aims to raise awareness about prevention and encourage self-exploration habits. in the female population of Tuxpan.

“The health of our community is a priority, and with this free mammogram day, we are taking a firm step towards preventing breast cancer. It is vital that women have access to these services to detect any abnormality in time,” pointed out Bernal Herrera in his publication.
