Awful! 500 Million LinkedIn User Data Sold to the Dark Web


AKURAT.CO, Microsoft’s job search platform, LinkedIn, acknowledged that the profile data of more than 500 million users had been removed from the platform.

This violation was first exposed by the publication of the technology news and international research website CyberNews. They claim in their reports that information such as LinkedIn ID, full names, email addresses, phone numbers, gender and links to other social networks belonging to more than 500 million LinkedIn users have been compromised and sold on dark web.
