Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The news of the large number of new car models being released near the end of the year makes consumers delay until they cancel the purchase of the old model. The waiting decision from many consumers is very reasonable. In recent times, social media has been shocked by the emergence of several variants suspected of being a new model, one of which is the Avanza Veloz.

The rumors of the emergence of many new cars at the end of the year turned out to have an impact on car sales in October 2021. One of the Toyota dealer salespeople who was contacted CNBC Indonesia, admits that many potential consumers deliberately hold back on buying old Avanza models because they want to see the new car first, and don’t want to regret it later.

The dealers can not do much if consumers prefer to wait for a new car. If you push to buy the current model, the risk is that consumers will run to other dealers. In order to keep consumers willing to make transactions, the choice is to supply new car information when there are developments.

What about the Mitsubishi Xpander? it turned out to be the same. The issue of the birth of the new Xpander affects the sales of the old model.
