The Grünwalder Stadium at a glance

- Special features: Oldest stadium in Munich. Official name is “Municipal Stadium on Grünwalder Strasse”. The football stadium belongs to the state capital of Munich and is rented to football clubs for games.
- Story: Opened in 1911 as the club stadium of TSV 1860 Munich, owned by the city since 1937, several renovations – most recently in summer 2018.
Ticketing
The Ticket sales occurs exclusively via the Online-Ticketing the host. The Stadium opening takes place at 18:00 hrs
Ticket prices:
Standing room guest block F2: 5 euros (no discounts/ currently only a few places left); access WEST I
Seating back straight: 10 euros (reduced 5 euros)
Seating main stand: 15 euros (reduced 7.50 euros)
Information on arrival
Car; important: there are no parking facilities near the stadium, which is why we recommend arriving by train.
Public transportation:
The Wettersteinplatz subway and tram stop is located directly at the Grünwalder Stadium.
U-BAHN: Take the U1 to the Wettersteinplatz or Candidplatz (Westkurve) stop. Take the U2 to the Silberhornstraße stop. Then walk or take tram 15 or 25, or bus X30 to Wettersteinplatz or Tegernseer Landstr.
Tram: With lines 15 or 25 (stops Tegernseer Landstr. and Wettersteinplatz).
BUS: Metrobus 54 and express bus X30 (Candidplatz and Tegernseer Landstr.)
To attend the games at the Grünwalder Stadium gThe following regulations apply, among others:
Bringing the following fan items is permitted:
- four large waving flags (with a pole length of up to 7.00 m)
- Flags (with a pole length of up to 1.50 m, plastic empty tube)
- Double holder (with a pole length of up to 1.50 m, plastic empty tube)
- Drums (open and visible at the bottom)
- Fence flags / fan club banners (contents: own or fan club name)
- Backpacks and belt bags – will be checked at the entrance!
- Digital cameras / cameras (not professional equipment / for private use only)
The following fan items require approval:
- Banners and choreographies
- Confetti, streamers (etc.)
The complete registration (wording, size, design, material certificate, etc.) must be submitted in writing to the Fan and Fan Club Support Directorate at least one week before the match at [email protected] Fire safety regulations must always be observed.
Among other things, the following items are expressly prohibited:
- Pyrotechnics of any kind
- Tetra Pak or plastic bottles over 0.5 l
- Cans, glass bottles
- Fruit
- Spray cans
