The Abu Dhabi Shelter and Humanitarian Care Center – Ewaa, affiliated with the Department of Community Development, held a series of interactive and educational activities to instill effective communication among children, as part of the International Children’s Day activities organized by the Ministry of the Interior at Khalifa Park.
In conjunction with the sixth national week for the prevention of bullying in schools, the activities of the center included various workshops, organized by a group of experts and specialists in the field of teaching children how to manage their feelings and emotions, equip them of social and personal skills, motivate them to positive behaviors and reject violence in all its forms, including bullying. Sarah Shuhail, Director General of the Centre, said: “In light of the solidarity governance system which provides it with all elements of integrated work, the Center seeks to leverage various opportunities and events with partners and supporting agencies to achieve a common vision towards the empowerment of the new generations. She added, “The center is currently focusing its efforts on the children’s category, in line with the social sector agenda in Abu Dhabi.
