The granting of grants to prominent scientists has been delayed due to the drop-out rate and absenteeism due to corona at science fund NWO. The Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research was already able to announce on Monday that twelve talented researchers in the fields of Applied and Engineering Sciences (AES) and Health Research and Care Innovation (ZonMw) have received so-called Vici funding of up to 1.5 million euros.
