(Boursier.com) — Dontnod Entertainment, an independent French studio for the creation and development of video games and Xbox Game Studios, a division of Microsoft, announce that the Tell Me Why narrative adventure has won the “Beyond the Video Game” and “Narrative Excellence” awards at the Pegasus 2021.
Organized by the French Academy of Video Game Arts and Techniques, the ceremony was held on March 17 and honored the best video games of the past year.
We are very proud to see Tell Me Why awarded in these two categories! Through this original creation, we wanted to address strong and engaging themes that very widely unite today’s players. Remember that Tell Me Why is nominated in the “Game Beyond Entertainment” category at the BAFTA Games Awards (British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards), whose ceremony will be held on March 25 in digital version. It will designate the big winners of the year 2020. This “Game Beyond Entertainment” category rewards creations with credible and authentic content, through the emotional impact they generate, the themes addressed and the innovative use of our media, to explore and deliver strong positive messages about the lives of players, beyond pure video game entertainment.
