He demonstrated his exceptional talent as an entertainer right at the beginning of the evening as the opening act with his song “Better Man.” In his speech, he deliberately addressed the words to his German fans: “Thank you Germany, you have always been good to me and have me always greeted with a smile even in my darkest times.”
Von BAMBI-Legend too BAMBI-Legend: Laudator Peter Maffay appreciated Bryan Adams after more than four decades as one of the most successful musicians in the world and presented him with the BAMBI in the “Legend” category. With his hits “Heaven” and “So Happy It Hurts,” this year’s awards ceremony was a grandiose and atmospheric finale with a standing ovation for Adams.
