As for the changes in the exterior, Niva Travel received a new hood with a large-mesh radiator grille and a new design of front optics in the style of Toyota RAV4. The exterior of the SUV was complemented by side moldings and new rims with linings on the arches. The rear features full-LED headlights and a new raised bumper.

According to the Association of European Businesses, almost eight thousand of these SUVs have been sold since the appearance of Niva under the Lada brand in July 2020. Niva Travel entered the assembly line on December 21 and has not yet gone on sale. According to preliminary data, the new product will appear at dealers in early 2021.
