AvtoVAZ will expand the range of Lada cars, which can be purchased at factory prices, without dealer markup, on the company’s official website. An official representative of the Russian brand told an Autonews.ru correspondent about this. Currently, only the Lada Granta in the Standard configuration and the sports version of the Drive Active model are presented on the online storefront at the factory price.
“The project is effective, so we are planning a potential expansion. We will announce the details in early November,” AvtoVAZ said.
The exact number of Lada cars that were sold under the new program is not specified.
At the moment, a prerequisite for purchasing a car at the factory price is an advance payment of 10,000 rubles. and loan processing. If desired, the buyer can arrange additional services and order accessories from Lada Image LLC. Also within the framework of the program, a trade-in service is available, and, as with a regular purchase, the cars are guaranteed by AvtoVAZ.
It was previously reported that in June 2023, a conflict arose between AvtoVAZ and dealers after the launch of the Lada Vesta NG model. With the then recommended prices for the model starting from RUB 1,239,900. a number of dealers, as Autonews.ru was the first to find out, began selling the model with large markups. In September of this year, AvtoVAZ sold 36,231 Lada passenger and commercial vehicles in Russia. The company’s press service stated that this figure is 8.7% more than in August 2023 and is the best result in the last two years. As for the first nine months of this year, during this time Russians purchased 242,552 new Lada cars, which is 96% higher than the same figure for 2022.
