AvtoVAZ has no plans to revise the plan for the production of cars due to the outbreak of coronavirus in China. However, the company currently has a crisis headquarters, which monitors the development of the situation, reports TASS with reference to the press service of AvtoVAZ.

“At present, the plant does not have such plans. The headquarters together with suppliers assesses potential risks and develops scenarios for their resolution. We monitor the situation and work on schedule, ”the press service explained.

Earlier at AvtoVAZ, Auto Mail.ru was told that the company’s enterprises still have the necessary supply of parts.

“Some global AvtoVAZ suppliers are delivering us a small amount of components from their Chinese plants. We currently have the required supply of these parts. AvtoVAZ, together with all suppliers, including local ones, some of which also receive parts from China, carefully assesses the potential risks, ”said Sergey Ilyinsky, Director of Public Relations of AvtoVAZ JSC.
