This year the Netherlands were disqualified from the final of the Eurovision Song Contest. This had to do with an incident that took place behind the scenes between Klein and a camera woman. The artist is said to have violated the organization’s rules. There was insufficient evidence for a criminal charge.
The broadcaster has been given until November 1 to find out if it will take part in the song contest to be held in Switzerland next year.
