Avoid MS Glow Issues of Fake Products and Repacking, Kosme: Not True

TEMPO.CO, Surabaya -Skin care products or skincare owned by Crazy Rich Malang, Gilang Widya Permana and Shandy Purnamasari, recently, their authenticity has been questioned. Rumors circulated that MS Glow is a fake product even a product skincare repackaged or repacked.

Regarding this news, Director PT. Global Cosmetics Indonesia (Kosme) Titis Indah Wahyu also brushed it off. “Reconditioned products, the meaning is this, so we buy, then we” repacking here. So all of that is not true,” he said when met by Tempo at PT Kosmetika Global Indonesia Surabaya, Saturday, March 26, 2022.

Titis stated that his party is very selective in the selection of raw materials to the production process and distribution of MS Glow products. “We have an R&D Lab, where all the formulations were originally there. Then, processed by own production, there is weighing. That is, if we really repacking from outside, that no there will be a weighing but we go straight to filling”He said.

Meanwhile, CEO of J99 Corp. Danang Dwi Yuanto said that his company carried out production starting from the process of weighing raw materials, fixing until filling done at the factory. “It is really processed aseptically because we are here in Surabaya, at this Kosme we have also received a certificate of CPKB application,” he said.

The certificate of application of CPKB (Good Ways of Making Cosmetics) is a valid document which is proof that the Cosmetics Industry has complied with the requirements of CPKB in the manufacture of Cosmetics.

Danang also emphasized that all MS Glow products are certified POM Agency and Halal. “The issue is beyond that, we’ll buy later repack here,” said Danang.

In addition, Titis explained that the CPKB application certificate was issued by the POM Agency. “It means, before issuing it, the POM Agency has definitely visited here. We will definitely see all the facilities here, including production facilities, raw material warehouses, certainly cannot be separated from the POM inspections,” he said.

Regarding his response to the issue, he said that PT Kosmetika would not respond to anything because it had all the documents. “Documents, starting from the arrival of raw materials to the raw materials, we carry out inspections at the beginning, all of them have documents,” he said.

Titis said that even if he wanted to be asked, did his side? repacking, the public may ask the supplier. “Please clarify to the news reporter, does he have any proof that we repacking” he said.
