The driver of the truck that caused the train accident in Avlida on Tuesday afternoon (30/07) was arrested, when the vehicle deviated from its course and ended up on the tracks.
The driver was given a breathalyzer which showed that he was not under the influence of alcohol. It is noted that three people were injured in the incident, a 59-year-old man and two minor boys aged 12 and 16, who were taken to the Chalkida hospital with minor injuries.
It is worth noting that the state of health of none of the three injured does not inspire concern.
