Just before 23:00 on Sunday evening, communications consultant at Nordland Hospital, Tor-Einar Schøning, can tell that those involved are two women and two men.
Two people were seriously injured and two were slightly injured. All are in their 70s and are stable.

The police in Nordland report that the accident happened at Røkland in Saltdal.
– There has been a collision between a motorhome and a car. Four people involved. The road is closed, the message was just before 17.00.
They further report that a person is trapped and work is being done to get him released. Rescue helicopter is on its way to the site.
The accident happened in the 90 zone.
– It’s a frontal collision. Two people were transported to hospital by helicopter. They are considered critically injured, says operations manager Tommy Bech at the police in Nordland.
The others are transported to hospital by ambulance.
He further says that all emergency services are on site and working with theirs.
E6 is closed and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration recommends a detour via county road 7466.
