Ávila, September 18 (EFE) .- Ávila will be left without a cinema for a month, as only the six theaters of the Estrella Cinemas will close their doors starting on Monday, to undertake a work of reform, which will include the complete renewal of its image .
According to reports from the company that manages these premises located in the “El Bulevar” shopping center, on the outskirts of the capital, the works will last about a month, so much so that at the end of October they will reopen to the public.
These multiplexes, located opposite the National Police School, where some 3,000 future officers study, opened their doors in 2001 and are the only ones to offer a cinematic offering to Avila fans.
The works will involve “some novelties” in the six rooms, such as “engaging sound, more comfortable seats and access for people with reduced mobility”.
It is not the first time that Ávila has found itself without a film offer, after the closure of several theaters in the capital, the last two being the Cinema Tomás Luis de Victoria, in the city center.
