Avignon OFF: Circus machine at La Scala Provence

A company of circus artists from Quebec and already successfully programmed at La Scala in Paris presents at OFF d’Avignon a show full of virtuosity and humor that delights audiences of all ages.

Machine de Cirque is a circus company from Quebec that offers a high dose of dizzying prowess, strong emotions, poetry, intelligence and humor through the production of innovative and original circus shows. Machine de Cirque’s proposals touch and move through a unique approach to circus art.

A beautiful mechanism

Machine de Cirque is also the name of one of their shows presented at OFF d’Avignon in the sumptuous great hall of La Scala Provence. The show is led by a homogeneous troupe, crossed by a sincere, gregarious and endearing friendship. It is scripted: the six guys from Machine de Cirque are alone in the world and their quest is to contact other survivors using a strange machine. In their journey they let themselves be distracted by their fantasies, they without women or computers. Bold, touching and comical, these six characters have a bond that amazes us and a joy of doing that infects us. They master the Korean board, the skittles, the drums, and even the bath towel. Each time with incredible virtuosity.

The room turns into a meeting of happy and admiring children, kids from 7 to 77 years old laughing together. The show is a dazzle and an intergenerational communion.
