PRESENTATION OF THE AP-HP UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL GROUP. HUPSSD
The AP-HP has six university hospital groups, including our GHU, AP-HP. Paris Seine-Saint-Denis University Hospitals, associated with AP-HP Nord Université Paris Cité. This configuration makes it possible to strengthen links with universities, partners and the territory.
Backed by the Sorbonne Paris Nord University, our university hospital group AP-HP Hôpitaux Universitaires Paris Seine-Saint-Denis has a strong ambition and a large-scale establishment project. Between now and 2025, we have many major projects that are decisive for our three hospitals to achieve. Strengthened by its membership of the AP-HP, our hospital community has carried out collective work to consolidate our care, teaching and research missions in our territory. This is how seven medico-university departments (DMU) were created, including three in association with AP-HP Nord-Université Paris Cité. Fruit of a shared reflection, the DMUs are built in a logic of health care and innovation sector. They also promote the strengthening of links with the Sorbonne Paris Nord University, partners and the territory. This new organization of AP-HP Hôpitaux Universitaires Paris Seine-Saint-Denis makes it possible to better support projects and teams, and offers the inhabitants of Seine-Saint-Denis a strong health project, up to our mission of GHU .
The medical-university departments, or DMUs, are an essential component of the AP-HP. They participate in redefining the entire scope and operation of AP-HP medical structures. Each DMU associates several departments and functional units in a logic of care sectors, but also of teaching, research and innovation in health.
