Belarusian and Russian military aviation continue joint exercises. This was announced today, January 26, in the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.

“As part of the joint tactical flight exercise of the armed forces of Belarus and the Russian Federation, the issues of relocating the air echelons of Belarusian and Russian aviation units to operational airfields, including those located on the territory of Russia, are being worked out. Also, air crews act as control targets to check the air defense forces on duty, ” – the message says.

In addition, it is reported that “as part of the tactical flight exercise of the armed forces of Belarus and Russia at the Brest training ground, servicemen of the special operations forces of our country worked out elements of parachute landing”

“Servicemen parachuted from a Mi-8MTV-5 helicopter using climbing ropes and a special landing rope,” – told in the Belarusian Ministry of Defense.

Recall that joint tactical flight exercises are being held in Belarus, which began on January 16 and will end on February 1. According to the Belarusian Ministry of Defense, A-50, Su-30SM, Su-34, MiG-29, MiG-31 and other aircraft, as well as Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters, are involved in them. As part of the exercises, among other things, the suppression of air defense, the defeat of command posts, accumulations of equipment and manpower of a mock enemy are being worked out.
