Melitopol bloggers have discovered a “graveyard” of old aircraft.

An airfield with abandoned Soviet aircraft is located 20 kilometers from Zaporozhye in the direction of the Dnieper.
There are fighters with red stars on their wings, military helicopters, where buttons with the inscription “machine gun”, a maize and An-24 are preserved. Only a few dozen pieces of equipment.
In the thickets next to the equipment, destroyed barracks for future pilots have been preserved.
According to local residents, before the collapse of the USSR, a plane took off or landed at this airfield every 10 minutes. Some of the equipment, they say, was transported to the Caucasus.
According to bloggers who found the “cemetery”, restoring several planes could make an excellent museum. But, apparently, no one needs these remnants of the Soviet era.
