In an area of 1 kilometer there are five other poultry farms, three of which are empty. The other two companies are removed as a precaution to avoid spreading to surrounding companies. The infected farm is located in a dense area of poultry. If preventive elimination is not performed, contamination can quickly spread to surrounding farms in this area.

There are another 28 poultry farms in a 3 kilometer area. These herds are screened for bird flu and monitored intensively for the next 14 days for symptoms that could indicate bird flu.

There are another 110 poultry farms in the 10 kilometer area. The transport ban applies immediately in this area.
