The price of the dollar fell against the Moroccan dirham to 9.74 dirhams on international stock exchanges, by 0.051%, at a value of 0.005 cents.
Dollar rise
Bank Al-Maghrib announced that the dirham rose by 08.3 percent against the US dollar, and by 09.1 percent against the euro between June and July of this year.
The average volume of currency exchange against the dirham reached 67.9 billion dirhams during the month of June, an increase of 27.8 percent from year to year.
Banks’ transactions with customers reached about 31.3 billion dirhams for cash purchases, and 15.4 billion dirhams for deferred purchases, compared to 40.8 billion dirhams and 30.7 billion dirhams, respectively, a year ago.
The weighted average interest rates for Treasury bond tenders, for the year 2022, recorded increases ranging between 5 and 42 basis points.
The price of the dollar against the Moroccan dirham
The price of the Moroccan dirham against the dollar increased to about 9.88 dirhams in today’s trading, according to Bank Al-Maghrib data, an increase of 10 centimetres.
The price of the dollar today in Morocco for Moroccan citizens was about 9.1 dirhams for purchase and 10.58 dirhams for sale.
The Moroccan government aims to raise growth rates by 0.3% by the end of next year, to record 3.7%, compared to 3.4% in the current year.
The exchange rate of the euro against the Moroccan dirham
The price of the euro rose against the Moroccan dirham in today’s trading to 10.86 dirhams.
The price of the euro stabilized today in Morocco, at about 10.1 dirhams for purchase and 11.63 dirhams for sale, according to data from the Central Bank of Morocco.
The exchange rate of the euro against the Moroccan dirham for transfer, according to data from the Moroccan banking system, was about 10.72 dirhams.
