Suspicions have been raised that the mall founded by singer Kang Min-kyung pays skilled employees below the industry average.
Kang Min-kyung directly explained that he misspelled the recruitment notice for the mall, but the suspicion of staff neglect still persisted.
On the 5th, the mall headed by Kang Min-kyung posted a 3-month contract job advertisement. It was a CS job that required a graduate with 3-7 years of experience, but the annual salary was around 25 million won.
Through an announcement, the mall sought employees with various skills, such as online shopping mall counseling, customer complaint counseling, answering overseas customers’ emails in English, CS general office work, and the definition of a planning of operational policies through the analysis of customer requests. On the other hand, the annual salary was around 25 million won, and it has been pointed out that it was extremely low for a career worker.
Then Kang Min-kyung stepped forward. Kang Min-kyung explained that it was a simple mistake, saying, “I was surprised by so many DMs and reconfirmed the announcement. And I was even more surprised.
However, the average annual salary of Kang Min-kyung mall employees listed on a recruiting site was 21 million won in August last year and 23 million won in September. In response, many people responded bitterly, saying that experienced employees at Kang Min-kyung Mall shouldn’t earn much more than 25 million won in wages.
Kang Min-kyung founded Abiemua Co., Ltd. in 2020 and runs it. According to the recruiting site, the company was recently known to have 6 employees with a turnover of 3.45986 billion won.
Recently, Kang Min-kyung bought a building in Mapo-gu, Seoul for 6.5 billion won, attracting attention.
