Avengers : Endgame gave Captain America (Chris Evans) a compelling ending alongside Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). Still, it’s unclear exactly how Steve Rogers’ return to the past to replace the Infinity Stones went. If we hope that Phase 4 of the MCU teaches us more about the superhero’s journey, the Russo brothers had however mentioned a possible journey through different realities by admitting that the timeline in which Cap ‘had found Peggy was finally different from Bucky and Sam’s. An interesting confession that may have been confirmed by a new clue from the MCU.
We especially want to talk about the trailer forHawkeye, in which we were able to discover the musical about Steve Rogers. Difficult indeed to imagine the superhero given such an endorsement in order to use his image knowing his disgust for propaganda. Given the character’s humility, it is certain that he would not have condoned such use of his image and that of the Avengers. Moreover, the only possibility for the musical to have been set up in the same timeline as Cap ‘would have been the disappearance of the superhero. Nevertheless, several signs of Falcon and the Winter Soldier suggested that Steve Rogers was still alive. There remains therefore the possibility of this other timeline. Hopefully the next MCU creations give us an answer.
