The popular WhatsApp application is currently spreading several fraudulent messages that try to lure (not only) personal data from users, Avast warns.
It is recommended to delete dangerous messages offering the possibility to change the color scheme of the application and not to click on the links in them at all. If a link is used, the user is redirected through various pages and routed to send a paid SMS. Another type of fraud is abused by KFC or Russian Yandex and tries to lure login details to Facebook.
