The Czech “esero” Avast Software, which is controlled by the Dutch Avast Software NV and the British Avast Plc., Respectively, paid a dividend of CZK 4.63 billion in 2019. Revenues reached 15.15 billion crowns with a net profit of 3.22 billion.
Avast paid 1.32 billion crowns in taxes in the Czech Republic last year and, together with the Škoda Group, ČEZ, Prazdroj, O2 and a group of banks, is one of the largest domestic taxpayers.
Last year, the company had 1,218 employees with wage costs of 1.4 billion crowns (total personnel costs 1.8 billion). Of these, ten employees were in management. Their wage costs amounted to 136.6 million crowns.
