Avalanche games until Tuesday are postponed

The National Hockey League announced today that a third Colorado Avalanche player has been added to the NHL’s COVID protocol.

The team’s games tonight and Sunday against the Los Angeles Kings and on April 20 against the St. Louis Blues have therefore been postponed. Depending on the test results in the coming days, the Avalanche are expected to be able to reopen their facilities for training on Wednesday, April 21st, and to return to play on April 22nd against St. Louis. The decision was made by the league’s medical groups, the NHLPA and the club.
