Former Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has published new data on the losses of Russian troops in Ukraine. He announced that he had managed to get information again from an internal source at the Russian General Staff on the morning of May 28, reports segodnya.ua.
According to him, the irreversible military-operational losses of manpower of the personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are 33,812 people. PMC – 8903 killed.
“A total of 42,715 people died,” Avakov said.
He noted that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine considers it more conservative and shows a figure of 30,000 people.
“I would like to note that compared to the report of the enemy, received almost a month ago, the dynamics of deaths among the PMC has slowed down – on April 30 there were 7869 losses, and today they are 8903. Most likely the number of mercenaries involved in battles decreased. There are fewer and fewer applicants. And that’s good, “Avakov said.
