Design like you’ve never seen before: The raw beauty of ear (1)’s design is characterized by transparency that exposes the engineering, including microphones, magnets and circuit board. Everything about ear (1) has a purpose – from the instantly recognizable red color signal for the ‘right’ to the playful fisheye holes of the wireless charging case in which the earplugs fit. Not only does it look distinctive, ear (1) is also designed for advanced comfort. Weighing just 4.7g, each earbud features pressure-relieving vents, an ergonomic fit and three customizable silicone ear tips.

Pure sound starts with a large driver, measuring 11.6mm to be exact. The audiophiles of Teenage Engineering have carefully tuned the software and hardware for a balanced bass, mid and treble performance. Behind the scenes, the latest Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity ensures you never miss a beat.
State-of-the-art noise reduction
The Active Noise Cancellation in ear (1) uses three high-definition microphones to reproduce your music, movies and podcasts in razor-sharp clarity. Use Light mode for moderate noise reduction and Maximum mode for noisy environments such as on an airplane or in the office. When you’re ready to let the world back in, activate Transparency Mode. For loud and clear conversations, Clear Voice Technology has been specially developed for ear (1) to suppress disturbing background noise, such as wind.

ear (1) packs a punch, with over 5.7 hours of listening time and over 34 hours with the charging case[i]. The compact power source provides ultra-fast charging – 10 minutes of charging in the case equals up to 8 hours of power for a whole day. Nothing ear (1) charges wirelessly and is compatible with all Qi chargers.
Additional features include include Find My Earbud, EQ, Active Noise Cancellation and Gesture Control adjustment via the ear (1) app[ii], as well as In-ear Detection and Quick Pairing[iii]. The ear (1) earplugs are also resistant to sweat and splashing water.
