As reported by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), all health centers are enabled from this Wednesday for vaccination.

Who should apply the new dose? As a priority, vaccination should be older adults and patients with serious conditions, such as diabetes, cancer or HIV.
“The priority will be vaccination of health personnel who works in the area of respiratory disease management,” said the MSP.
The campaign is nationwide and the bivalent vaccine manufactured by the Pfizer pharmaceutical.
Despite the fact that the global emergency due to Covid-19 ended, the World Health Organization (WHO) warned that the virus is still present among the population.
Because the virus continues to mutate, vaccination is also recommended for patients with medical preconditions and for citizens in risk groups.
And new shipment with the bivalent vaccine, which is already administered in other countries such as the United States, It will arrive in Ecuador in November.
