The tech&fest festival is back. The event launched in 2024 in Grenoble by The Dauphiné Libéré (EBRA group) returns in 2025 with two new ambitions, explained Tuesday in Lyon by its co-founder, Benjamin Coron: to become “a destination event between the CES in Las Vegas, South by Southwest and VivaTech” and “to bring together and reveal what does the best in terms of tech and innovation.” For Benjamin Coron, Grenoble and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region form “a powerful territory in terms of innovation” whose strengths lie in University, research and businesses.
Business to business
For its second edition, this business to business event expects more than 20,000 people, more than 350 companies and more than 200 qualified personalities, such as Emmanuel Faber (ISSB), Nicolas Dufourcq (Bpifrance), Arthur Auboeuf (Team for the planet), Déborah Papiernik (Ubisoft), etc. They will speak for two days on five stages and on the issues that agitate the tech ecosystem: decarbonization, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, cybersecurity, reindustrialization, etc.
“Tech will not save the world, but the world will not be saved without it,” the organizers of tech&fest repeated on Tuesday in Lyon. They particularly focused on the Decarbonization Village. The company Motherbase will offer a directory of 450 French start-ups offering as many solutions to decarbonize your business. Fifty of them will be present in Grenoble. They will present their solutions in the decarbonization village. They can be met individually. As in 2024, tech&fest is also renewing a job dating event for two days, to meet companies recruiting on fixed-term contracts, permanent contracts, but also on internships and work-study contracts.
Korean, German and Italian flags
The event tech&fest is also internationalizing, as announced in 2024 by the general director of Dauphiné LibéréChristophe Victor, co-founder of VivaTech. The event is enriched this year with an international and multi-cultural part, marked by the presence of Korean, German and Italian pavilions, Lisa Cambone, director of Concilum, tech&fest’s international consultancy, announced Tuesday in Lyon. The festival is also expecting several delegations of foreign visitors and its teams will participate in international trade fairs in the future.
