Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region Placed on Orange Alert for Significant Snowfall Event – March 3 Update

Météo France places part of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region on orange alert for a “notable snowy” episode, from the night of Saturday to Sunday March 3.

The snow is coming back. Météo France has placed the Loire and Haute-Loire on orange alert, for a significant snowy episode, which will begin during the night of Saturday to Sunday March 3. The other departments of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes are currently placed on yellow alert. In the Rhône and around Lyon, this bad weather could disrupt road traffic, which is busy this weekend returning from vacation.
