The football department’s fourth football camp for kids aged 7 to 15 took place in the second week of the autumn holidays. For the first time, the camp was fully booked with 60 kids taking part. The weather was great, perfect for the end of October and to spend the whole day on the sports field. The main focus of this camp was also the topic of football as well as various technical challenges and forms of play. There were also some new, exciting sports to discover this fall.
These included handball, kickboxing, bouldering and judo. The program was rounded off with a mandatory visit to the swimming pool. As at the last camps, lunch was provided by the Brunos Bistro based in Hellerau. All the kids had fun and enjoyed themselves and were probably all relatively exhausted but happy after the whole week at camp. We are pleased about the continued demand and positive feedback from kids and parents about the camp. This shows that we made the right choice in the program and spurs us on to keep making the camps a little better.
At this point we would like to thank the handball players from HC Elbflorenz, the judo department, the kickboxing department, Brunos Bistro and everyone who contributed to the preparation and implementation of the camp. By the way, we will be offering 4 camps again in 2025. Traditionally, the first camp will start in the coming Easter holidays. Registration for this and all other camps next year is possible online via our homepage from November 1st, 2024. We are looking forward to the new camp season.
