In the new week, the weather in Latvia will become more autumnal – the air temperature will drop, it will rain more often, and windier days are also expected, according to forecasters of the Center for Environment, Geology and Meteorology of Latvia.
In the first week of October, the weather conditions in Latvia will be determined by the action of cyclones – rain, stronger gusts of wind, and cool nights are expected – the thermometer will fluctuate around the +9…+14 degree mark in many places, although it will be a few degrees warmer in the coastal areas.
The days will remain moderately warm, with the air warming up to +15…+20 degrees.
Meanwhile, the second half of the week will be similar to the beginning of it, only the air temperature will become lower and lower during the day and night hours as cooler air flows in.
