The nurse Franco Medina, who is part of the Autovac vaccination staff, reported that they have flu vaccines and the dose against pneumonia for people over 65 years of age. “Also with vaccines against Covid-19 and all those that are necessary to complete the scheme. The Autovac works from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Calle Jujuy 1,351, from Monday to Friday. In this sense, the professional stressed the importance of getting vaccinated against the flu, since it indicates that the flu vaccine reduces complications, hospitalizations, sequelae and deaths caused by the influenza virus.
Vaccines prevent serious diseases that can be disabling or fatal, especially for children. Immunization is one of the most cost-effective public health medical interventions and, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), prevents between two and three million deaths each year.
