Autostrade, cashback for inconveniences
An automatic cashback of the toll, in case of queues caused by the presence of a construction site. This was announced by the CEO of Motorways for Italy Roberto Tomasi. Aspi has started an overall modernization of the motorway network it has under concession: in 2020 it spent 750 million euros and in 2021 it will spend the same amount. The most important works are currently underway on the A1 Milan Naples and on the A23 Udine Tarvisio, but also on the A7 and A10 in LiguriaTo compensate for the inconvenience caused to users, Autostrade has studied a compensation mechanism, which it is submitting for evaluation by the Ministry of Sustainable Infrastructures and Mobility and the Antitrust Authority. The resources foreseen for the cashback amount to a maximum of 250 million, an amount established on the basis of expected traffic estimates and the presence of construction sites.
