The federation wants to make virtual motorsport more accessible with the KNAF Digital platform. Anyone who wishes to do so will soon be able to participate in the official virtual racing competitions. The platform will be available in winter. Different racing games are supported on multiple systems.
For example, there will be ‘KNAF-certified’ competitions in the games Gran Turismo Sport (PlayStation 4) and DiRT Rally 2.0 (PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC). Registration fee does not have to be paid, because KNAF Digital is supported by NOC * NSF. As with other competitions, there is a battle for a pot of real prize money.

Later KNAF Digital will also release a ‘virtual racing license’. This should offer additional benefits, such as competitions with organizers affiliated to the KNAF and support for more racing games on more platforms.
