Autopsy reveals mother found in duffel bag in Queens stabbed 60 times | Univision 41 New York WXTV

The body of Gaal, 51, was found inside the suitcase shortly after 8:00 a.m. Saturday on a Forest Hills avenue, following a call from a 911 witness who saw the bloody lump.

According to the NY Post, the victim suffered 60 stab wounds to the neck, torso and left arm. They also found puncture wounds in the carotid artery and trachea, as well as knife wounds inside the fingers and on the palms of the hands, according to sources with knowledge of his autopsy.

Apparently the woman had been stabbed by an unknown attacker at his home and his body was dragged half a mile away and dumped on Metropolitan Avenue that morning.

The agents followed the trail of blood that was on the street and arrived at the woman’s house, where there was blood.

Gaal allegedly told his youngest son, who was in the house and was later questioned by the authorities, that I was going to see a show, but actually I had a date with another manNYPD sources told PIX11 News.

She returned home that night, but was killed inside and her body was dragged away in the duffel bag.

The murderer used Gaal’s phone to send a text message to her husband, Howard Klein, saying: “Your family is next”.

Also, he told him: “Your wife sent me to jail a few years ago. I’m back” according to PIX11 News.

Surveillance footage captured someone appearing to be dragging a duffel bag down Juno Street, where the family resides, hours earlier.

This case is under investigation and the city’s medical examiner will determine Gaal’s cause of death.
