“Yes, the autopsy results have come out,” said Hamim at Army Headquarters (Mabesad), Central Jakarta, Wednesday (13/9/2023).
He said the results of the autopsy on Imam Maskur’s body were released by the Central Army Hospital (RSPAD). Hamim said Imam Masykur suffered bleeding on the brain due to a hard object hitting his neck.
“In general, the autopsy results were the result of a hard object hitting the neck which then caused bleeding in the brain,” he said.
Hamim said that his party was still investigating the exact cause of Imam Masykur’s death. He guaranteed that the investigation into this case would be carried out to completion.
“We investigated all possible facts, and indeed from the preliminary results it was done more than once,” he said.
Hamim said that there had indeed been post-mortem results which stated that Imam Masykur had asthma. According to him, the post-mortem was carried out at a hospital in Karawang.
“That was the initial post-mortem for asthma, the hospital in Karawang. But the autopsy results from the RSPAD are already there,” he said.
Previously, Pomdam Jaya had named a Paspampres member, Praka RM, as well as two other TNI members, Praka HS and Praka J, as suspects in the case of Imam Masykur’s death. This case began when the victim Imam Masykur was taken from a shop in the South Tangerang (Tangsel) area on Saturday (12/8).
The three perpetrators, who were members of the TNI, pretended to be police when they took Imam Masykur, who was suspected of selling illegal drugs. The three TNI officers then blackmailed Imam Masykur so that he would not be prosecuted for allegedly selling illegal drugs. In the process of asking for money, the perpetrators tortured the victim to death.
“The perpetrator pretended to be a police officer who arrested the victim because the victim was suspected of being a trader in illegal drugs (Tramadol, etc.),” said Pomdam Jaya Commander Colonel CPM Irsyad Hamdie Bey Anwar when contacted, Monday (28/8).
