“The Moroccan automotive industry is the most attractive market in the MENA region for production opportunities,” Fitch Ratings said in a note, published on 12th instant. “Morocco is the leading market in the MENA region in our automobile production risk / reward index, thanks to strong production growth prospects, low labor costs and a positive industrial policy”, adds the American rating agency in its document “Morocco retains the lead in the risk / return index for automobile production in the MENA region”. In terms of growth in vehicle production, the Kingdom scores the highest, an index of 83.9 out of 100. The reasons why international car manufacturers choose Morocco are reflected in its average cost of vehicle score. labor force of 66.1 out of 100, indicating low labor costs, and the strength of its industrial policy, with a score of 81.3, as the government actively supports the development of industry.
