A citizen denounced an alleged bribery request from agents of the regional Automotive Department of the National Police in Caaguazú. The agents would have told him that his vehicle was cloned and allegedly asked him for money in exchange for a false document.
Within the framework of the investigation in this regard, the temporary closure of the Caaguazú regional office was ordered.
In contact with this medium, Commissioner Ignacio Muñoz, director of Automotive Desarmaderos, explained that they seek to reach the complainant to obtain more information about his complaint, which dates back two years.
“We do not want the investigation to be obstructed, we are the most interested in clarifying this,” he said.
