Automobile: more than a quarter of the French are ready to give up insurance

F.in the face of rising fuel prices and the ongoing inflationary crisis, all savings are worthwhile, but they can sometimes be risky. As indicated by a survey conducted by the online insurer Leocare RTL was able to consult, more than one in four French people (27%) who own a car say they are ready to stop paying car insurance.

A figure that increases significantly among young motorists under the age of 35, 40% of whom think of giving up car insurance. Furthermore, this study points out that only one in five motorists over the age of 50 say they are ready not to subscribe. As our colleagues recall, driving on the road without being insured is a crime punishable with a maximum fine of € 3,750.
