The Volkswagen ID Buzz is the world’s first series of fully electric minivans and cargo vans. The engine is in the rear and drives the rear wheels just like it was seventy years ago, only it’s electric. Thanks to the arrangement of the units, the ID Buzz is very maneuverable. For now, the power of the electric motor alone is 150 kW or 204 hp, the net battery capacity is 77 kWh. Availability strongly depends on driving style and speed. To extend the range, the top speed is artificially limited to 145 km / h. ID Buzz can have up to 35 different driving assistants. In addition to dexterous handling, the ID Buzz’s benefits include a comfortable, high sitting position that is easy to get out of. The second row seats are sliding and folding, just like in the Multivan. The trunk capacity is colossal: from more than one cubic meter to at least two when the seats are fully folded. Other versions of the ID Buzz will come later, including those with more seats or, conversely, with a smaller and cheaper battery. But the basic concept will remain the same.
