The “Auto-Bon” portfolio in the Baltic States and Finland already includes all the biggest brands of the “Stellantis” group – “Peugeot”, “Citroën”, “DS Automobiles” and “Opel”. From June 1, “Auto-Bon” also imports “Fiat”, “Alfa Romeo” and “Jeep” cars in Finland, and it is only natural that soon this line of business will also be added to the portfolio of the Baltic countries.
“Transferring all brands from one manufacturer to one company is a natural part of market consolidation. We see this as an opportunity to improve customer service and increase the efficiency of the entire supply chain,” said Markus Volle, CEO of Auto-Bon.
“Stellantis” was created in 2021 by the merger of the French PSA group and the Italian-American large company FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles). The strategic goal of “Stellantis” is to strengthen the rights of brand representation, so it has been decided to continue the successful cooperation with “Bassadone” group and “Auto-Bon” in the Baltic States and Finland.
“The entire automotive industry is under enormous consolidation pressure, so we are open to all possibilities. Acquiring the rights to represent Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Jeep is a natural continuation of our successful cooperation with Stellantis, a reliable partner and the manufacturer has chosen us to represent Stellantis brand cars,” added Antti Ruhanen, CEO of Bassadone Automotive Nordic.
All “Stellantis” brands have a rich history, and combining them under one roof allows to maximize the synergy between them. At the same time, a clear focus on the individual strategy of each specific brand is maintained.
“Fiat is a strong player in our markets, especially in the commercial vehicle segment. By representing all Stellantis brands of commercial vehicles, we can provide each brand with access to specific target groups and build the model range to better meet customer needs,” commented Andrus Kuuss, CEO of “Auto-Bon Baltics”.
“Electrification is, of course, a high priority for all the brands added to our portfolio. In the near future, exciting electric “Alfa Romeo” will enter the market, which preserves the sportiness characteristic of the brand. The entire range of “Jeep” models is also being completely updated – the offer of the iconic all-terrain vehicles includes both cars with a hybrid drive and fully electric versions of them,” added Koos.
The retail business name of “Bassadone” in the Baltic States is “Autohalle.com”.
“Bassadone Automotive Nordic” is part of the family company “Bassadone Automotive Group” founded in 1904, imports and distributes cars of several brands in countries such as Great Britain, Finland, Gibraltar, Spain and the Baltic States.
