The film tells the story of a tree. This tree is an oak. The film shows what happens on the tree in spring, summer, autumn and winter. Animals are shown, eg a squirrel, beetles, birds and ants.

They are all at home in the tree. The oak is a bit like a house with many neighbors. The neighbors sometimes argue, but they also celebrate together.

The oak – my home is a documentary film. The tree and the animals in the film are real. For the film someone recorded her life with a camera for a while.
