Communication strategies and social mobilization that motivate vaccination, in addition to presentation of the complete immunization schedule for public spaces -although they do not explicitly indicate that it is a vaccination card, they suggest it- and regulations that improve coverage of immunization of Covid-19 and other preventable diseases, are the main agreements reached by the authorities that participated in the Great Crusade for Vaccination and Life, this Tuesday in Santa Cruz.

At the end of the meeting, the Governor of Santa Cruz, Luis Fernando Camacho, expressed his dissatisfaction with the agreements reached, since he considers that the compulsory nature of vaccination should have been raised by the Government. Camacho described this meeting as one with ‘little taste‘; he indicated that real solutions were lacking to face the epidemic.

Auza lamented the damage that the anti-vaccine movements did with wrong information about alleged effects that anticovid vaccines could cause. He was emphatic in saying that no major adverse effects, as these movements had raised, which include the alleged conversion into a werewolf, or the modification of the magnetism of his body. Hence, communication plays an important role in these commitments.
