Authorities Seek Help in Locating Gunman Who Fired on MTA Bus over Fare Evasion

The authorities need your help to find the location of a man who opened fire on board an MTA bus in Brooklyn for not paying the fare.

The event took place this morning shortly after six at the intersection of Flatlands and Louisina avenues in the East New York sector.

The gunman, aboard a B82 bus, refused to pay the fare when he was rebuked by three members of the New York City Transit Eagles, a unit specializing in fare evasion.

The man fired at the MTA workers as they got out of the vehicle, but no one was injured.

The shooter fled in an unknown direction, investigations are ongoing.
