“Authorities Offer $3500 Reward for Information on Young Woman Abducted in Brooklyn Street”

Authorities are looking for a young woman who was abducted Friday in Brooklyn from a van. They promise 3500 dollars for any useful information.

The identity of the victim and that of his kidnapper remain a mystery. New York police are appealing for witnesses to try to find a woman kidnapped in the middle of the street on Friday in the Brooklyn district, several American media report, in particular the New York Post et CBS.

It was a witness who saw a woman being transported in a suspicious van who first alerted the authorities. By viewing video surveillance images, the police have indeed spotted the disturbing images of a man advancing with his arms wide open towards a young woman, around 1:45 a.m. at the level of a pedestrian crossing, before kidnapping her.

A reward of 3500 dollars

According to CBS, the victim did not scream but tried to resist his attacker by struggling, in vain.

According to the call for witnesses launched by the New York Police Department (NYPD), in charge of the investigation, the young woman would be in her twenties with long hair. During the abduction, she was dressed in a striped shirt, a blue skirt and white sneakers. As for his captor, he could be in his thirties and was wearing dark clothes.

As announced on their social networks, they offer a reward of 3500 dollars for any information allowing the investigations to progress.
