Authorities Execute Search Warrant and Arrest Suspect in Murder Case

Authorities executed a warrant to search an apartment, located near the crime scene, this Thursday morning. As a result of the operation, they found the suspect.

Brian Dowling will now be questioned for the murder of the activist and public policy advocate. According to the NYPD, the suspect is charged with depraved indifference to murder.

“What are you looking at? I’m going to kill you!” he told Ryan Carson before attacking and stabbing him

Ryan Carson and his girlfriend were waiting for a bus on Lafayette Avenue, in order to return home after attending a wedding, but the suspect appeared out of nowhere, stabbed him several times in the chest and fled the scene.

A public security camera captured the moment in which the subject kicks some objects off the ground and then begins to attack the activist.

“What are you seeing? I’m going to kill you!” were the words of the aggressor. During the dispute, Ryan Carson tripped over the same bench where he was sitting, leaving himself in a vulnerable position for the subject to stab him.

For their part, some nightstands lie at the bus station where Ryan Carson was killed.
